3 ways you can help this week!

It’s always amazing how many people want to support the work we do at Blend Kitchen, so I wanted to let you know 3 ways you can help Blend Kitchen this week.

1. A trip to the veg patch

This Saturday we have one of our Chef’s Counter events at Blend Kitchen. We still have some tickets available for this great value 7 course tasting menu costing just £40. Link below to book.

2. Sponsor a Blend Kitchen trainee

One thing we’re launching this week is our sponsor a trainee scheme. I’m really proud of the work the team have done on this and will be releasing details of it in the coming days. The basic overview is that we are looking for businesses and individuals to sponsor a training opportunity for someone overcoming significant life challenges. With packages starting at £500 going up to £1000, these sponsorship packages can help transform the lives of some of the most vulnerable and disenfranchised people living in Sheffield. With ongoing fluctuations in our day to day trade, any support we can get to maintain and increase the training we provide would be incredibly welcome.

3. Chef’s Counter private dining

Over the past month or so, I’ve been creating our Chef’s Counter private dining brochure. These are a series of exclusive dining experiences and cooking classes that can be booked either at Blend Kitchen or in the comfort of your own home. Each package is designed for up to 20 people and are perfect for everything from a team building day to a hen party to a family occasion. My vision with Chef’s Counter is to provide progression routes for the people we train at Blend Kitchen who are interested in going into more high end hospitality and also to create opportunities for young up and coming chef’s to showcase their talents through guest chef nights. I’ll have more details on these in the coming weeks.
