Dear friend of Blend Kitchen

Over the next few weeks, a group of not-for-profit food organisations, artists, community organisers, and academics from Sheffield Hallam University are teaming up with Sheffield Theatres to create a unique show about climate change that features the voices of real people from across the city.

You are invited to contribute! Join us for a complimentary two-course lunch at Blend Kitchen where you and others will have the opportunity to discuss the issues that are important to you. We hope that these shared meals will bring together a diverse mix of people including changemakers, decision makers and residents. Together, you will be invited to share your hopes, fears, and strategies for creating a better world!

The team behind the project will draw on these experiences to create a special performance at the Crucible Theatre on 6th April. You are invited to assemble with us at the event, where you will hear sounds of the city, listen to diverse voices, and have the opportunity to be part of an urgent conversation about climate change in Sheffield and beyond.

The meals will be vegetarian and will take place on 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th March from 12pm till 2pm.

To book either call Blend Kitchen on 0114 2721455 or email [email protected]

We would also like to invite you to bring to the meal one thing that you feel is important to keep as we move towards an uncertain future, and one thing that you would leave behind. These could be actual objects, they could be photographs, a song, or an idea that you are happy to share.

We look forward to seeing you there!
